This is Shop Wolverton
Wolverton is a small Victorian Railway Town in North East Milton Keynes. The town became part of Milton Keynes when the New Town was established in 1969, but retains its own unique character, sense of identity and distinct sense of community.
We are lucky to have a diverse range of independent businesses serving the local community, many of whom have been in the Town centre for decades.
Shop Wolverton showcases these fantastic businesses, but is no ordinary listing directory.
It tells the stories of the people behind each business, and gives a glimpse of the range of products and fantastic food they produce through a photo gallery.
LOCKDOWN 3 - BUT WOLVERTON IS STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Lockdown 3 began on the 6th January 2021, with non essential shops and businesses closed until at least the middle of February.
Many of our local businesses are still offering some sort of service, whether it be through take-away, click and collect or via telephone orders.
A list of local businesses can be found on our dedicated Covid-19 Lockdown page here. Please continue to use and support our local economy!
The Town centre is made up of three distinct areas, each of which has its own character:
- The (Market) Square
- Church Street
- Stratford Road
- Glyn Square
